Robot sourcing

Find the Right Robot for Your Automation Project

Robots Trading Inc. helps manufacturers, food and beverage processors, and research labs in Canada and the United States find the right used industrial robot for an automation project: send the task with a CAD file, drawing, or photos, and we review the application, recommend the robot size and models that fit, and source the robot from our Mississauga inventory or the wider used market, including washdown and food-grade robots.

At a glance

  • Used industrial robots from FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa Motoman, Kawasaki, and Universal Robots.
  • Application review from a CAD file, drawing, or photos: payload, reach, cycle time, and environment.
  • Washdown and food-grade robots sourced for food and beverage plants.
  • Mississauga, Ontario warehouse, buying and selling robots since 2004. Ships across Canada and the USA.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Send the job

Tell us what the robot should do, and attach a CAD file, drawing, or photos. Part weight, reach, and parts per hour are the key numbers.

  2. Step 2

    We review the application

We check payload, reach, cycle time, and environment, and recommend the robot size, models, and controller generation that fit.

  3. Step 3

    Meet and choose

We respond right away to set up a call, a video meeting, or a visit to our Mississauga warehouse to go through the options and prices.

  4. Step 4

    We source the robot

From our own inventory, or we find it on the used market: arm, controller, teach pendant, and cables, shipped across Canada and the USA or picked up.

We don't install, program, or integrate cells. Your in-house team or integrator does that, and we're glad to go through the robot side with them.

Frequently asked questions

Who can help me find the right robot to automate my process?

Robots Trading Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario reviews automation applications and sources used industrial robots for manufacturers, food processors, and research labs across Canada and the United States. Send the task with a CAD file, drawing, or photos through robotstrading.com/robot-sourcing and we recommend the robot size and models that fit, then source the robot.

What do you need from me to recommend a robot?

What the robot should do, the part weight and size, how far it needs to reach, parts per hour, and a CAD file (STEP, IGES, DWG, SolidWorks, Inventor), drawing, or photos of the part and the space. Tell us which robots you already run so we can match the platform.

Which robot brands can you source?

Mostly FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa Motoman, Kawasaki, and Universal Robots, including washdown and food-grade models for food processing. We sell from our own inventory and find robots on the used market when the right model isn't in stock.

Do you install or program the robot?

No. We review the application and supply the robot package — arm, controller, teach pendant, and cables. Installation, guarding, and programming are done by your in-house team or your integrator, and we're happy to go through the robot side with them.

How much does a used industrial robot cost?

It depends on the model, controller generation, and package. Our used FANUC robot price guide lists typical asking prices by series, and each industry guide shows the price range for the robots that fit that kind of job.
